By using Everlly (available at everlly.ai and app.everlly.ai), you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, role (couple, vendor, or venue), and any profile details you provide such as business name, phone number, and location.

Wedding & Event Data

For couples, we store your wedding date, venue, guest list (names, contact details, dietary preferences, RSVP status), seating arrangements, and budget information. This data is entered by you and used solely to provide our planning features.

Communications

When you send invitations or RSVP requests through our platform (via WhatsApp or Email), we process the recipient's contact details and their responses. Message content is stored to sync responses with your guest list.

Vendor & Venue Data

Vendors and venues may provide portfolio content, pricing, availability calendars, lead pipeline information, and booking details. This information is used to operate the marketplace and calendar features.

Usage & Analytics

We collect anonymized data about how you use the platform — pages visited, features used, scroll depth, and button interactions — to improve our product. This data does not identify you personally.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid Everlly plan or buy a package, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Everlly platform and its features
• To send invitations and RSVP requests on your behalf via WhatsApp and Email
• To power AI features including seating chart generation and planning assistance
• To facilitate connections between couples, vendors, and venues on the marketplace
• To process subscription payments and manage your account
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, booking notifications)
• To respond to support inquiries and resolve disputes
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes unrelated to Everlly.

3. Data Sharing

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform, including Microsoft Azure (cloud infrastructure and database), Twilio (WhatsApp messaging), and Azure Communication Services (email delivery). These providers process data only on our instructions.
• Other Users: When a couple books a vendor or collaborates with a venue, relevant event details are shared with the other party as necessary to facilitate the booking.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you in advance.

4. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All data is stored in encrypted Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB databases. Data in transit is protected by TLS/HTTPS encryption. Access to production systems is restricted and monitored.

While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly in accordance with applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

Guest list data (names, RSVPs) is retained as part of your wedding project. You may export or delete this data at any time from your account settings.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")

7. Cookies & Tracking

Everlly is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
